From Homeless To Hero

Dr. Brenda Combs symbolizes inspiration and perseverance to all who meet her. Only fifteen years ago, she was a homeless crack addict, a petty criminal, a gaunt and hopeless wreck who had been shot, beaten, and raped during the endless years when she lived under a bridge in the worst part of Phoenix.

It took hitting rock bottom for Combs to find the strength to turn her life around, on a blistering summer day.

Dr. Brenda Combs published her first book, “Finding My Shoes”, in 2014. In January 2018 BRC Publishing was established. BRC Publishing offers full-service book publishing including editing, publishing, book mentoring, book cover design, publishing options & MORE!

Dr. Combs is a best-selling author with an extensive background in education. She has national educational publications and is, an international motivational speaker, playwright, actress & community activist. “I want to give new authors the tools & opportunity to write & publish their books!”
